Machine Learning and Rock Art

The project Machine Learning and Rock Art is a multidisciplinary collaboration between the Centre for Digital Humanities (CDH), Department of Historical Studies, Swedish Rock Art Research Archives (SHFA), and the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology. The purpose of the project is to automate, with the help of computer programmes (so called machine learning), the classification, analysis, and interpretation of rock art. In its developing stage, the project will specifically work the rock art that are located in the area around Tanum in Bohuslän, Sweden.
